Art From the G.U.T. The Enterprise Center’s First Juried Student Art Exhibition February 26th – March 18th Opening Reception will be held on February 26th from 6-8pm Eligibility: The exhibition is open to all students enrolled in a degree program at the University of Louisiana, Monroe, Grambling State University or Louisiana Tech University. You must be enrolled for the current academic year. Students may submit up to 3 original works completed during college attendance at one of the listed universities. Judging: Evelyn Pell Stewart, Curator and Assistant Director of the Masur Museum will serve as juror for this exhibition. She will select works based on creativity, execution and overall excellence. This will be a blind jurying process. The students’ names and university affiliation will not be available to the juror at the time of judging. Award: The juror will select one work to be named Best of Show. Deadline for Entries: All submissions must be received by January 22, 2010 Submission Requirements: Email completed entry form (.pdf available below) and submission images (up to 3) to

DOWNLOAD ENTRY FORM Image Requirements: Image size: 900 pixels at longest edge. Image format: .jpg, sRGB, 72dpi. Name files: your name_title of work, do not use any special characters. Example: janesmith_appletree.jpg If work is untitled please number accordingly. Example: janesmith_untitled1.jpg janesmith_untitled2.jpg, etc. Physical works cannot exceed 5 ft in any direction Notification of Acceptance: Accepted artists will be notified, via email, by February 1, 2010.
Delivery of Works: All accepted works must be delivered to the Enterprise Center by 5pm February 19th Presentation Requirements: All two-dimensional works must be framed and ready to hang with wire cable or the equivalent attached to the back. Three-dimensional works must be delivered, completely assembled stable, secure and ready for presentation. Installation work that requires assembly is discouraged. The Enterprise Center reserves the right to omit any artwork that is not of professional quality. Return of Works: All works must be picked up from the Enterprise Center on March 18th-19th between 8 am and 5 pm. The Enterprise Center cannot store works.
