The Art & Entrepreneurship Speaker Series began in the fall of 2008 as a way to allow students to meet and query real people working in the art field.  Our speakers come from a variety of different professions in the arts. It is a unique opportunity for students and pushes them to consider what career path they will pursue after graduation. We feel that it has the potential to be a vital addition to their education. Past speakers have included: Anne Archer Dennington of the Masur Museum, Kent Follette of Follette Pottery, Doug Kennedy of Mojoware, Jessica Slaughter from Slaughterhead as well as photographers Kevin Beasley and Jennifer Robison. 

Wednesday November 11th, the Enterprise Center's Art Entrepreneurship Speaker Series continues with local potter and entrepreneur Kent Follette. The talk is at 7pm at the Enterprise Center Art Gallery.

About the speaker Follette Pottery was started in 1979 in northern Louisiana and is among Louisiana’s oldest pottery producers. Featuring Kent’s work, it is now one of the largest production potteries in the south.  Visit his website at http://www.follettepottery.com/
